Samuel Lee
The Rev. Dr. Lee’s scholarly interests include multicultural
pastoral practice, pastoral care and counseling with culturally
diverse clients, and multi-culturalism in theological education. A
clergy ordained by the United Methodist Church, with over ten years
experience as a local church pastor, Dr. Lee is clinically trained
counseling Psychologist who brings empirical research expertise and
the psychotherapy competence. In recent years, Dr. Lee contributed
to the development and adoption of multicultural competencies for
the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. He also serves as
the Executive Director of The Clinebell Institute for Pastoral
Counseling and psychotherapy, a clinical training center for
students which also provides pastoral care and counseling service
for the wider community in Los Angeles.
