Mackay Memorial Hospital can rejoice in God's grace that has brought it to its current position as a modern medical center. However, we must continue under His guidance to take an active role in addressing current and future challenges. Implementation of National Health Insurance is an ongoing process. A 16-story building is under contruction next to the main Taipei branch, to expand outpatient and educational facilities. The Nursing School is also being upgraded and new facilities are being built, including a model hospice. A long-term goal is the establishment of a medical school. Lastly, it is our prayer that under God's direction, Mackay Memorial Hospital will continue not only to provide quality care at a medical center level, but also to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to meet the needs of the whole person.
