Emergency Room

The Emergency Room is staffed 24 hours a day by attending physicians. All Emergency Room personnel receive training in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support. In addition, there are periodic emergency and disaster drills designed to insure that the staff are prepared for any situation.

The Taipei branch has the highest volume of emergency visits of any hospital in Taiwan and serves as one of three main centers in the Taipei Area Emergency Services Network.. As such, it would also function as a triage center in the case of diasters.

The Tamsui branch serves a similar function in its geographic area. The Taitung branch is the only such designated trauma unit in Taitung.
