Decipher the mechanisms of self-renewal of embryonic stem (ES) cells to develop novel scale-up technologies for robust production of ES cells in Biotech.

Work out the clinically graded processings in directed differentiation of human ES cells into various lineages.

Isolate and characterize the clinically graded human ES cell lines.

Apply follistatins with ES cell technologies in disease models.

Combine with NanoScience to develop novel stem cell chips for drug discovery and basic research.
