訓練簡介

Department of Anesthesiology at Mackay Memorial Hospital has established to provide a broad education in the professional practice of anesthesiology. The facilities of the four branch hospitals (Taipei, Tamshui, Hsinchu, and Taitung) of Mackay Memorial Hospital have been combined to offer a program of wide scope and variety. The Continuum of Education in Anesthesiology consists of four years of training subsequent to the date that the medical degree has been conferred. Primary emphasis is placed on a clinical and didactic teaching program leading to a practice of the specialty of anesthesiology with certification by the Taiwan Board of Anesthesiology. Advanced training both in special clinical areas and clinical or basic research is offered to physicians to satisfy individual needs for a high degree of professionalism and specialization in the practice of medicine.

Residents will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and skill consistent with training under the following headings:

A. Anesthesia equipment and monitors

B. Clinical Pharmacology

C. Pre-, peri- and postoperative management of anesthesia

D. Anesthesia for patients with coexisting systemic disease

E. Anesthesia for particular disciplines -
Obstetric anesthesia, Pediatric anesthesia, Cardiovascular anesthesia, Thoracic anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Geriatric anesthesia, Critical care, Postanesthesia care unit, Regional anesthesia, etc.

F. Acute pain and chronic pain management

G. Audit and quality control

H. Clinical and basic medical science research

I. ICU Training

訓練方式

A. Basic Anesthesia Training (R1~R2):
Emphasize on basic and fundamental aspects of the management of anesthesia.
按月分派到各麻醉專科手術房內，進行第一線麻醉照顧訓練。

B. Subspecialty Anesthesia Training (R3~R4):
Emphasize on the theoretical background, subject material and practice of
subdisciplines of anesthesiology and pain management.
分派到各麻醉專科手術房區域，協助督導第一線麻醉照顧。

C. Research Training: (R3 ~R4):
Emphasize on theoretical background, laboratory techniques and practice of
clinical or basic research (three months).

D. Intensive Care Training (R3~R4):
Emphasize on the theoretical background, subject material and practice of
intensive care at ICU and /or CCU (three months)
