When the doctor asks you to hold Barium in your mouth, please do as he says.

We are pouring in the Barium now. Hold your sphincter closed tight; the medicine must remain inside.

I'll help you release some medicine. Please straighten your knees and stand firmly on the board.

I'll pump some air in to swell your bowels. Your stomach will swell a little. Please clinch your buttocks tight.

Now lie on your stomach and turn onto your right side, then turn face upward. Make two 360-degree turns.

When you go to the toilet, it's normal for your stool to be white because Barium is white.

This examination is mainly to find out how long it takes for the Barium to get to the small intestine and the large intestine. The time is different for different people.

Please drink this cup of Barium and wait outside. We will call you in when it's time.
請將這杯鋇劑再喝下，在外等候，當時間到，會請您再進來。
Please walk around and massage your stomach. It will help your digestion.
