DermPath Fellowship-Curriculum

Curriculum

 

Fellows will read slides daily with the program director, prepare clinico-pathological conferences, and review teaching materials in the department collection. They will develop further understanding of the skin pathology and interpretation methods, including histopathology, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, and diagnostic molecular pathology.

 

• The fellow should studies all 36 topics, including inflammatory disorders; infection; non-inflammatory conditions, tumors of the epidermis; appendageal tumors, soft tissue tumors, and lymphoma.

• The fellow can test themselves with 15 unknown slides every month.

• The fellow will study and present cases in the clinico-pathological conference cases.
